Ex-Arsenal All-Time Top Scorer : Tammy Abraham Better Than Batshuayi
Published: October 15, 2017Ex-England star Ian Wright has opined that Swansea City loanee Tammy Abraham is a better striker than Chelsea's Belgium international Michy Batshuayi.
Indeed, the statistics prove him right as Abraham has tallied four goals in the English top-flight so far this season playing for a struggling Swans, whereas Batshuayi has no goals to his name after five appearances for the champions in the division.
''Tammy set the tone straight away,'' Wright said on BBC's Match of the Day
'''What I really like about him is that he hits the target. I was hoping he would get some goals today to give him confidence.
''He worked hard and showed composure for his first goal and his movement today was superb.''
When asked to pick either Abraham or Batshuayi as his striker, Wright answered : ''With that movement, I'm taking Tammy all day long.''
Wright notched 185 goals from 288 appearances for Arsenal and was the club's all-time top scorer before the record was broken by Thierry Henry twelve years ago.
