Published: October 23, 2017Liverpool U23s recorded their seventh victory of the 2017-18 season after beating Manchester United 3-1 in the Premier League 2 at Leigh Sports Village Stadium on Monday night.
Red Devils right back Matthew Olosunde is still on the mend and was not available for selection, Tosin Kehinde played the full game and former Golden Eaglets trainee Ovie Ejaria went the distance for the away team.
Liverpool took the lead after 14 minutes through Ejaria, who slotted the ball home from a difficult angle, before James Wilson equalized just after the hour mark.
