What Tony Nwakaeme Said After First Premier League Goal Of The Season
Published: October 24, 2017Anthony Nwakaeme has expressed his pleasure after opening his goal account in the Premier League for the 2017-2018 campaign for his Israeli side in their triumph against Maccabi Tel Aviv yesterday evening.
The Camels ran out 2-1 winners at the Turner Stadium on Monday evening and had the Super Eagles striker to thank after he nudged them ahead albeit in a bad tempered encounter in which the hosts were reduced to ten men with Hatem Elhamed receiving his marching orders early on for a bad challenge,an act which had tended to bleak their fortunes.
Ben Sahar added another quick-fire strike,a goal which rendered Omer Atzili's 89th minute effort all but a respite.
Nwakaeme had taken to his Instagram account to profoundly express his pleasure with the victory.

“Great team spirit with good energy from the fans. I shake the net with a goal,” he wrote on an Instagram post.
His teammate,John Ogu who picked up an injury in last week's Europa League tie with Steau Bucuresti was not certified fit and missed out in yesterday's game.
The 28-year-old would hope to add to his tally when they travel to face F.C Ashdod on Sunday in their next league date.
