Goalkeeper :
Felix Uzoho (Deportivo La Coruna): Ex-golden Eaglets goaltender, Francis Uzoho was in goal for the second team of Deportivo as they played out a goalless draw against visiting Guijuelo in the Spanish Segunda Division B. So far, the youngster has two top-flight appearances to his name this season.
Defenders:
Felix Uduokhai (Wolfsburg): The German-Nigerian defender was instrumental in helping his Wolsburg side secure a credible draw against Schalke in the German Bundesliga.
It was the 20-year old's third consecutive start for The Wolves as he, time and again foiled the attacking plans of Schalke with his sturdy tackling while putting in a full shift for the entirety of the game.
Uche Agbo (Standard Liege): Agbo, who had been an ever present for his Belgian club was in action as they beat Waasland-Beveren 3-1 in the top-flight to record their third win in four games.
The former Enyimba defender completed the full ninety yet again, propelling his team to sit eighth on the league log.
WilliamTroost-Ekong (Bursaspor): The effervescent Super Eagles defender took no prisoners as Bursaspor ran roughshod 4-0 over hapless opponents, Antalyaspor in a lopsided cracker in the Turkish Super League.
Efe Ambrose (Hibernian) : Ambrose was in action to help his Scottish Premiership side to a 1-0 win over Motherwell, recording their third clean sheet in four games.
The 2014 AFCON winner was dutifully meticulously as he, alongside his fellow defenders kept the North Lancashire team on the fringes, while going the full course of the game as well.
Midfielders
Ogenyi Onazi ( Trabzonspor): In Turkey, modest Trabzonspor pulled off a shock 2-1 win over Turkish giants, Galatasaray in a bad-tempered Super League clash and at the center of it all was Onazi pulling the strings for the Karadeniz Fırtınası outfit. The Super Eagles midfielder came off for Tomas Hubocan in the 89th minute.
Wilfried Ndidi (Leicester City): Leicester kicked off the new Claude Puel regime with a tidy 2-0 win over manager-less Everton in the English Premier League.
While Jamie Vardy and Demarai Gray grabbed the headlines with the goals, it was the 20-year old Ndidi who was charged with doing most of the tough midfield hardwork, tucking in perfectly and keeping the game ticking with his tireless performance throughout the game.
Mikel Agu (Bursaspor) : Agu was on song for Bursaspor in the Turkish Super league as they ran riot over Antalyaspor, with the midfielder putting in a classy performance.
The 24-year old opened the rout in the 37th minute, pouncing on a Pablo Batalla's lay-off to stab home the first.
Joel Obi (Torino) : Obi came off the bench to net the game-winner for Torino in their 2-1 win over Cagliari.
Strikers
James Igbekeme : The Gil Vicente winger makes his debut on our team of week after he helped his side to a sumptuous 4-0 win over Benfica B in the Portuguese Segunda Liga, finding the net twice in the victory.
Anthony Nwakaeme (Hapoel Beer Sheva): The Super Eagles striker was at his offensive best, bagging a double as his Hapoel Beer Sheva side beat Ashdod in the Israeli top-flight after falling behind to a Mauricio's 43rd minute opener.
