Super Eagles Warmly Received By Algerian Fans In Constantine
Published: November 09, 2017Players and officials of the Super Eagles players have just landed in Constantine, the city that will host the World Cup qualifier against Algeria, on Friday.
As first reported by Nigeria Football Federation, and additionally confirmed by this website, the Super Eagles arrived safely in Constantine, Algeria, and reception by the Algerian people was very warm and cordial.
Under Fifa and CAF rules, Gernot Rohr will have to observe his players for the last time on Thursday evening at the Stade Mohamed-Hamlaoui turf, before they step out onto the grass the following day.
The German manager cannot count on the services of six key players who were involved against Zambia last month : Victor Moses, Elderson Echiejile, Moses Simon, Odion Ighalo, Eddy Onazi and Mikel Agu.
Leon Balogun and John Ogu have been passed fit to play against the North Africans, having come through three training sessions unscathed.
