Chelsea Star Midfielder Set New Champions League Record
Belgium international Eden Hazard set a new Champions League when he found the back of the net against Azerbaijani champions Qarabag on Wednesday evening.

The attacking midfielder scored from the spot to give The Blues the lead in the 21st minute.

In doing so, Hazard became the top Belgian scorer in the history of the most prestigious European competition, breaking the record he previously shared with Dries Mertens and Wesley Sonck.

In 41 Champions League appearances, the 26-year-old has scored against five different teams :  Schalke 04, Maribor (2), AS Roma (2) and Paris Saint-Germain (2) and Qarabag.

He has provided 11 assists which came in matches against Trabzonspor, Inter Milan, Juventus, Nordsjaelland (2), Schalke (2), Maribor, Porto, Atlético Madrid and Qarabag.

Hazard has clocked up 3,206 minutes of game time in 41 games.
