Early Team News Liverpool-Chelsea : Victor Moses Will Start On The Bench
Published: November 24, 2017Speaking to the national press in England, Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has confirmed that Victor Moses is in contention to make his first-team return when the champions tackle Liverpool on Saturday.
The Nigeria international has not kicked a ball in a competitive fixture since sustaining a hamstring problem against Crystal Palace on October 14, and only resumed full training at the start of this week.
''His condition is good and for sure he needs a bit of time to recover the best form,'' Conte told reporters at the press conference including Football.London.
''Tomorrow he is in our squad and I want to bring him on the bench and decide if there is the necessity to have him on or not.
''I am very happy as now he is fine, but needs a bit of time to have the best physical condition. ''
Chelsea did not fare badly while Moses was on the sidelines, winning six matches, drawing one and losing against Roma in the Champions League.
The 26-year-old spent the 2013-2014 season on loan at Anfield, scoring 2 goals in 22 appearances in all competitions.
