Ndidi Speaks On Tottenham Hotspur, Partnership With Vicente Iborra
Published: November 28, 2017Wilfred Ndidi has revealed that Leicester City's opponents on Tuesday night Tottenham Hotspur will be desperate to pick up a win, so the Foxes have to raise their game.
In their last four matches in the English top-flight, Spurs have managed only one win against Crystal Palace, lost twice against Arsenal and Manchester United and drew with West Brom last weekend.
''I have never looked too much at the opposition. We know they are a good team so it will be very difficult,'' Ndidi told LCFC TV.
''That makes it difficult, a team who has just won once in four games will be difficult because they will want to win so we should expect that and do more to get three points.''
The Nigeria international midfielder has forged a blossoming partnership with Spanish midfielder Vicente Iborra in the ongoing season.
''He has been good. He has so much experience and he is calm on the ball. I admire that and he is a leader in the middle so I feel he is what we need,'' added Ndidi.
Ndidi along with Schmeichel, Wes Morgan, Danny Simpson, Harry Maguire and Jamie Vardy have started all the matches contested by Leicester City in the Premier League this season, and the Nigerian is expected to be named in the starting line-up against Spurs.
