Stoke City 0 Liverpool 3: Solanke Celebrates First Ever Assist, Africans Steal The Show
Dominic Solanke, who was handed his first Premier League start, justified his selection with some piece of magic, creating the opener for Liverpool in their 3-0 win at Stoke City on Wednesday.

The 20-year-old notched his first ever assist in the English top-flight when he brilliantly set up Sadio Mane and the Senegalese finished with aplomb over Stoke City goalkeeper Grant in the 17th minute.

Solanke would then release Mane in the 43rd minute but he failed to find the target with his effort, clipping the post with a shot which bounced to safety.

In first half stoppage time, he would play through Emre Can with a sleek pass but the German's shot went wide.

Mohamed Salah doubled Liverpool's lead in the 77th minute, rifling in a sumptuous effort after great work by Mane.

The Egyptian attacker added a quick double to rubber stamp the win, robbing Erik Pieter's in the area to slot another sensational finish past Grant to ensure a comfortable 3-0 victory for Jurgen Klopp's men.

Solanke lasted till the 67th minute before making way for Mohamed Salah in a more than satisfactory showing.

Liverpool move up to sixth with 26 points after this win while Stoke City are in 16th with 13 points after 14 games.
