Isaac Success In Contention For Trip To Brighton After Recovering From Illness
Published: December 21, 2017Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Nigeria international Isaac Success is in contention to make his maiden Premier League appearance of the season when Watford face Brighton & Hove at The American Express Community Stadium on Saturday, December 23.
Tomorrow will make it four months that the number ten last featured for the Hornets, when he lasted 45 minutes on the pitch against Bristol City in the second round of the League Cup.
Last weekend, manager Marco Silva left the Nigerian striker out of the match day squad against Huddersfield Town, fueling speculation that he suffered a relapse of a knee injury but that wasn't the case.
The 21-year-old had complained of illness days leading up to the clash against The Terriers, but has been given the all-clear by medics to resume training and has made himself available for selection against Brighton.
Ahead of the 2018 World Cup, Success is targeting a loan move to a club where he can play on a regular basis and increase his chances of making Nigeria's World Cup roster.
He is contracted to Watford until the summer of 2021.
