Done Deal: Talented Left Back Pens New Contract With Liverpool
Published: December 22, 2017Liverpool have announced that promising left-back Adam Lewis has committed his future by penning a professional contract with the club.
The financial terms and duration of the new deal signed by the defender have not been disclosed.
The 18-year-old has been a regular for Liverpool's U18 squad in the ongoing season, starting all their eleven matches in the U18 Premier League and was an important member of the U19 squad that qualified for the knockout round of the UEFA Youth League.
An England international at two age groups, U16s and U17s, Lewis has appeared in at least seven matches for the Young Lions.
The Liverpool-born youngster started training with the Anfield outfit at the age of six.
He captained the U18s in U18 Premier League matches against West Brom and Sunderland in the absence of the injured Liam Coyle.
