Only Leicester Goalscorers Rated Higher Than Ndidi In Impressive Draw Vs Man Utd
Published: December 24, 2017Leicester City recorded an impressive 2-2 draw against Manchester United in the final game of the first half of the English Premier League season at the King Power Stadium on Saturday night.
Jamie Vardy put Leicester City 1-0 up with his 50th Premier League goal, a Juan Mata double edged United in front before Harry Maguire equalized with the last kick of the game.
Nigeria international Wilfred Ndidi continues to earn positive reviews, with the defensive midfielder putting in another impressive shift against the Red Devils , having returned to the Foxes starting line-up after missing the defeat to Man City in the League Cup due to suspension.
In the player ratings done by Leicester Mercury, only England international Jamie Vardy and Harry Maguire (8/10) rated higher than the World Cup bound Nigerian star, who was awarded seven out of ten marks.
''Made crucial tackles in midfield and it was his long pass that set up the opening goal,'' James Sharpe wrote on Ndidi.
If Ndidi is showing so much promise in the Premier League, the same can't be said about his teammate Kelechi Iheanacho as the number eight was left out of the match day squad against Manchester United.
