Adarabioyo Benched, Ladapo Not In Squad As Eagles Put An End To Man City Winning Streak
Manchester City were held to a 0-0 stalemate by a spirited Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Sunday afternoon, a result which ended the Premier League leaders winning streak.

Young Nigerian defender, Tosin Adarabioyo was named among the substitutes for the Citizens while promising ex-Nigeria U20 invitee, Freddie Ladapo was not in the Eagles squad for the encounter.

Crystal Palace started brightly and nullified their visitors for most of the first period, with City's best chance of the half in the 28th minute falling to Sergio Aguero who was on for a crocked Gabriel Jesus but the Argentine striker's effort looped just onto the crossbar.

Wayne Hennessey denied Aguero again on the hour mark following a cross with the striker sending a weak header straight at the Palace goalkeeper.

Andros Townsend missed a sitter for Palace with 13 minutes left of the game after blazing over from a Wilfried Zaha's cross with the goal gapping.

Luka Milivojevic was denied from the spot at the death by Ederson in a dramatic finish which saw Pep Guardiola's side drop points just for the second time in the division this campaign.
