Iwobi Fails To Find His Feet Again Vs Swansea, Rated Arsenal's Worst Player
Published: January 31, 2018Alex Iwobi played poorly in Arsenal's shock 3-1 loss to Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium on Tuesday night, so much so that he was rated the joint-worst Arsenal player on the pitch.
The Hale End Academy product, who was in action for 76 minutes, was awarded a score of three out of ten by Football.London, along with Aaron Ramsey, Alexandre Lacazette and Granit Xhaka.
''Created one chance for himself before the break which was saved, but other than that it was a poor night for the attacker. Sloppy in possession and never a threat,'' wrote Charles Watts on the Nigeria international.
Against Swansea City, Iwobi played two shots and one was on target, made two key passes and his passing accuracy of 80.4 percent was the second worst in the Arsenal side.
Of the eleven players that started for the Gunners, the Super Eagles was second-least in touches with 59.
Iwobi completed two dribbles, was dispossessed on the ball by an opponent once, won no foul, made zero tackles, clearances and interceptions.
