Official: Manchester United Loan Out Young Midfielder To St Johnstone
Published: January 31, 2018Scottish Premiership club St Johnstone have announced the arrival of Matty Willock on loan from Manchester United until the end of this season.
Earlier today, United revealed that the attacking midfielder has cut short his loan spell at Dutch club FC Utrecht due to his lack of first-team opportunities, having played only three games in the league.
''I’m really please to get 21 year old Matty who has been on loan at FC Utrecht. He is a midfielder who possesses a lot of qualities, very comfortable on the ball, physically as well,'' manager Tommy Wright told St Johnstone's official website.
''He’s comfortable playing as a holding midfielder or attacking midfielder.''
Matty Willock is in line to make his competitive debut against Hearts on Saturday, February 3.
