Arsenal's Top Dribbler Vs Everton? Iwobi Comes Out On Top Ahead Of Ozil, Ramsey & Mkhitaryan
Published: February 03, 2018Alex Iwobi completed more dribbles than any Arsenal player in their 5-1 rout of Everton in a Premier League clash at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday evening.
The Hale End Academy product was successful in three attempts when he took on the opposition.
The Gunners second top dribbler against the Toffees was Germany playmaker Mesut Ozil, who completed two dribbles, followed by hat-trick hero Aaron Ramsey, Héctor Bellerín and Henrikh Mkhitaryan with one each.
Everton Academy graduate Tom Davies had a game-high four dribbles, despite his introduction at the start of the second half.
In other keys stats, Iwobi made one key pass which led to Ramsey's second goal, was dispossessed on the ball by an opponent once, won one tackle, made one interception and one clearance over the course of the ninety minutes he spent on the pitch.
The Nigeria international racked up 55 passes with a passing accuracy of 87.3 percent, and had two accurate through balls.
Today's clash against Everton was the first time Iwobi started four consecutive matches in the Premier League since the start of this season.
