Everton's Lookman Scores 'Made In Liverpool' Goal On Bundesliga Debut
Published: February 04, 2018England U20 World Cup-winning attacker, Ademola Lookman got off a solid start in his new adventure in the German Bundesliga with the solitary goal in RB Leipzig's 1-0 win over Borussia Mönchengladbach on Saturday afternoon.
The 20-year old who swapped Everton's Goodison Park for the Red Bull Arena on the transfer deadline day few days ago showed his immense quality after coming on with just 12 minutes to go.
With the game locked at goalless and heading for a draw, Lookman took a pass from Liverpool-bound Naby Keita, twisting around to drive in a precise finish into the bottom corner from the right channel of the pitch, a goal which proved crucial in ensuring Ralph Hasenhüttl's side carted home the maximum points from the game.
The victory was just their fourth on the road this campaign and takes them onto third, locked on 35 points with second-placed Bayern Leverkusen.
The youngster would be looking to continue with the flying start after scoring just twice in 12 appearances for Everton this term prior to his loan move.
