Strong Nigerian Striker Araba Joins Finnish Club PS Kemi
Published: February 07, 2018Finnish Veikkausliiga club PS Kemi have announced the acquisition of London-born Nigerian striker Hakeem Araba on a one-year deal with option for the 2019 season.
The 27-year-old last played for Swedish club örgryte and joins PS Kemi as a free agent.
Speaking on the deal, PS Kemi coach Jari åhman told the club's official website : ''Strong, deserved top player. He is not only a target player, he is also able to make runs behind the line. Araba will be a big help to a young team.''
Araba began his career at the youth team of Peterborough United before signing his first professional contract at Dagenham & Redbridge.
The attacker has also worn the jerseys of Thurrock, Bishop's Stortford, Billericay Town, Bromley, East Thurrock United, Whitehawk and Boston United in the United Kingdom.
He has also represented clubs in Cyprus, Denmark and Greece and was named the seventh strongest player on FIFA-17 two years ago.
