Arsenal, Chelsea, Man Utd, Liverpool, Barca To Watch Nigerian Striker Debut For Germany
Published: February 08, 2018A plethora of top clubs will be in attendance in the sixth edition of the UEFA Development Tournament for U16 teams, scheduled to hold 8 to 19 February in Vila Real de Santo António in Portugal.
According to sulinformacao.pt, scouts from Arsenal, Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool will watch the matches, with a view to signing the outstanding players.
Barcelona, Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, AC Milan, Juventus and Valencia have also sent their talent spotters to Portugal.
SpVgg Unterhaching U17 striker of Nigerian descent Karim Adeyemi has been named in the Germany U16 roster for the tournament and is in line to make his debut at that level against Netherlands on Thursday.
He represented Bavaria U14 and U15 regional teams before he earned a maiden call-up to Germany's U16 national team.
This season, Adeyemi has notched 15 goals in 15 matches for SpVgg Unterhaching in the Bundesliga South / Southwest.
Germany U16s will trade tackles with Italy (February 10) and Portugal (February 12).
