Manchester United's Nigerian-Born Midfielder Tipped To Make Debut At Huddersfield Town
Lagos-born Nigerian midfielder Tosin Kehinde, 19, is being tipped to make his first-team debut for Manchester United when they trade tackles with Huddersfield Town in the fifth round of the Emirates FA Cup on Saturday.

The Huddersfield Examiner is speculating that a trio of United prospects Tahith Chong, Tosin Kehinde and Angel Gomes could figure against The Terriers at The John Smith's Stadium.

If Kehinde gets some minutes against Huddersfield Town he would become the first Nigerian to play for Manchester United's first team since ex-Republic of Ireland international Paul McGrath did so in the 1988-89 season.

Predominantly a central midfielder, he can also be deployed on the wings and has a crisp range of passing.

A minor injury kept him out of United U23s squads against Arsenal and West Ham in January, otherwise he has been involved in all the matches played by the team in the Premier League 2 since September 2017.

His unstoppable 20-yard shot against Chelsea was nominated for Manchester United's Goal of the Month for September.
