Official: Swedish Club Asarums IF Bag Nigeria International Midfielder
Published: February 16, 2018Swedish club Asarums IF FK have snapped up Super Falcons midfielder Halimatu Ayinde.
The 22-year-old's contract with Asarums IF FK is written from March 1st until October 31st, 2018 and she joins the club from Belarusian women's football team, ZFK Minsk.
On her curriculum vitae, Ayinde has also defended the colours of Delta Queens in her homeland and Western New York Flash in the United States.
''It will be exciting to come and play in Sweden. Asarum is a newcomer to the league and I will do my best to help the team to as good a position as possible,'' Ayinde told Asarums IF official website.
''I hope to contribute positive energy to both training and matches. I really want to train and improve myself.
''I look forward to Asarum becoming my family during the season and promise I will give it all.''
Ayinde has turned out for Nigeria at the FIFA U17 and U20 Women's World Cups and Women's World Cup, scoring 4 goals from 15 appearances.
