Published: February 17, 2018Wilfred Ndidi was rated the best player on the KP turf as Leicester City advanced to the sixth round of the Emirates FA Cup courtesy of their 1-0 win against Sheffield United on Friday.
Only once before now has the Nigeria international put in a full shift in this competition and it happened when he made his competitive debut for the Foxes against Everton on January 7, 2017.
In the player ratings by Leicester Mercury, Ndidi scored eight out of ten marks, the top-rated player in the side along with Harry Maguire and Riyad Mahrez.
''A commanding performance from the City midfielder, who we tend to forget is still only 21,'' wrote James Sharpe.
The Super Eagle is also in the running for Leicester City's official Man of the Match award, and has to beat off competition from Jamie Vardy, Kasper Schmeichel and Danny Simpson.
As at the time of this report, Ndidi was behind the England man in the poll, with 23 percent of the votes accumulated.
Leicester City will discover their opponents in the quarterfinals of the FA Cup on Saturday evening.
