Official: Reading Loan Out Promising Nigerian Defender
Published: February 24, 2018EFL Championship club Reading have loaned out promising Nigerian defender Gabriel Osho.
Vanarama National League club Maidenhead United have informed through official channels that the center half will spend the next one month at the Magpies.
Osho captains Reading U23 team and has appeared in 20 matches this season, including three in the Checkatrade Trophy, where he went the distance against the first teams of Colchester United, Southend United and Gillingham FC.
In his first words after the transfer was completed, Osho told Maidenhead United's webpage : ''I’m really happy that the deal has been finalised now, can’t wait to get going and see if we can make a push for the playoffs.
''I am competitive, hardworking and determined to give my all for the team. Hopefully the fans will like how I play and I can impress them as much as I can.''
The 19-year-old Osho is in line to make his debut for Maidenhead United against Macclesfield Town today.
