EPL Wrap: Ndidi Hits Woodwork Again; Iheanacho Features; Abraham & Solanke Subs; Obafemi Not In 18
A round-up of Nigerian players that were in action for their respective clubs in the English Premier League on Saturday, February 24.

Nigerian players with dual nationalities and have played competitively for the senior national teams of other countries have been omitted.

In the lunchtime kick-off at the King Power Stadium, Leicester City forced visiting Stoke City to a 1-1 draw in a thrilling tie.

Xerdan Shaqiri beat Kasper Schmeichel with a sumptuous effort just before the break but Jack Butland's 70th minute blunder ensured both sides would have to settle for a share of spoils.

Wilfred Ndidi who started the game hit the post in the 89th minute while Kelechi Iheanacho came on for Danny Simpson two minutes after the hour mark. The Super Eagles midfielder also hit the woodwork vs Everton.

At the Vitality Stadium, there was no place in the team for Jordan Ibe as the Cherries through Adam Smith and Dan Gosling rallied back from a Dwight Gayle's double to hold Newcastle to a 2-2 draw.

At the American Express Stadium, Brighton took down Swansea City 4-1, with Glen Murray(2), Anthony Knockaert and Jurgen Locadia grabbing the goals for the Seagulls while Chelsea loanee Tammy Abraham who was introduced in
the 66th minute found the corner with a rasping drive five minutes from time.

Elsewhere, Liverpool hit West Ham for four at Anfield thanks to Mohamed Salah (2), Emre Can, Sadio Mane and Roberto strikes.

Michel Antonio's 59th minute goal for the visitors was thus, consolatory.

Dominic Solanke came off the bench in the 87th minute for the Reds.

Michael Obafemi was not included in the Southampton squad that earned a late point at Turf Moor as Manolo Gabbiadini came off the bench to cancel out Ashley Barnes goal with a stoppage time effort in their 1-1 stalemate.

In the late kick off at the Vicarage Road, Watford's Stefano Okaka starts on the bench as they trade tackles with Everton.
