Barcelona Vs Chelsea Most Fouled Player: Not Messi, Willian Or Hazard But Victor Moses
Published: March 15, 2018Nigeria international Victor Moses was the most fouled player out of the 28 players that took to the Camp Nou pitch in Chelsea's 3-0 loss to Barcelona in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
Lionel Messi was the star of the show, netting a brace to take his tally in the competition to 100, and orchestrated Barcelona's second goal scored by Ousmane Dembele.
According to the statisticians at Whoscored, the Argentina striker did not win the most fouls over the course of ninety minutes.
The statistics say Moses won a game-high three fouls, placing first ahead of Messi, Sergio Busquets, Luis Suárez, Paulinho, Aleix Vidal and Marcos Alonso who were fouled two times each.
The Nigeria Player of the Year completed three dribbles and only South American duo Willian (7) and Messi (6) were more successful than him in that category.
In other categories, Moses made two tackles, zero interceptions and clearances and had a passing accuracy of 77.3 percent.
The number fifteen was replaced by Davide Zappacosta in the 67th minute with the scoreboard reading 3-0 Barcelona.
