PEC Zwolle Join Liverpool, QPR In Race For Chelsea Starlet
Published: March 19, 2018Dutch Eredivisie club PEC Zwolle are working on a deal to sign Chelsea midfielder Isaac Christie-Davies, according to reports.
Voetbal International says PEC Zwolle coach John van't Schip will observe the former England U17 international this week before a decision is reached on whether to offer him a contract.
Christie-Davies will train with the first team of PEC Zwolle and is expected to feature in an exhibition game scheduled later this week.
The 20-year-old has been permitted by Chelsea to try his luck elsewhere with his contract set to expire at the end of the 2017-2018 season.
Last month, he trained at Queens Park Rangers and wore the jersey of Liverpool in a Premier League 2 fixture against Leicester City two weeks ago.
The box-to-box midfielder joined Chelsea at U11 level and helped the club win the UEFA Youth League in 2016.
