Official : Highly-Rated Manchester United Defender Joins Premier League Rivals
Published: March 31, 2018English Premier League side Huddersfield Town have officially announced the signing of highly-rated defender Jake Barrett.
Barrett, who was born in Huddersfield, joins The Terriers from Manchester United.
Aged 18, he made his debut for Huddersfield Town's U19 team in their 2-1 win over Italian outfit U.S. Sassuolo in Germany on Saturday, March 31.
The Mark Hudson led side traveled to Düsseldorf to compete in the CRB U19 Champions Trophy and their latest signing was not named in the match day squad when they faced Borussia Mönchengladbach in their opening game.
The team are in Group 1 alongside Borussia, Fortuna Düsseldorf, US Sassuolo and Legia Warschau.
After day one, they are second on the table with four points, three less than Borussia Mönchengladbach.
