Liverpool Vs Man City Confirmed Starting XI : Solanke On The Bench, Nmecha & Tosin Not In 18
England U21 international Dominic Solanke is the only player of Nigerian descent that is in contention to play tonight's Champions League quarterfinal first leg tie between Liverpool and Manchester City at Anfield.

While the former Chelsea striker has been named on the bench, Manchester City duo Tosin Adarabioyo and Lukas Nmecha have been omitted from the match day squad.

Including the qualifying rounds, Solanke has made two appearances off the bench for the Reds in this season's Champions League.

The 20-year-old was not in the squads that faced Sevilla at home, Spartak Moscow away and the two legs against Porto in the round of sixteen.

City central defender Adarabioyo logged ninety minutes against Shakhtar Donetsk in the group stage and made a cameo appearance against Basel in the round of sixteen second leg, while Lukas Nmecha has yet to debut in the competition.
