ADO Den Haag Target Moroccan Defender To Replace Benfica-Bound Ebuehi
Published: April 12, 2018ADO Den Haag have identified Moroccan right-back Khalid Karami as replacement for Tyronne Ebuehi if he heads to Benfica at the end of this season.
Omroepwest.nl says the right back of Excelsior, who becomes a free agent in June, should be the successor of Tyronne Ebuehi.
The Nigeria international was offered a new deal to extend his stay at ADO Den Haag but chose to pen a preliminary contract with Benfica in the winter transfer market which will be activated in July.
Ebuehi would have been a player of the Portuguese setup if he wanted in January but considered that he won't be guaranteed playing time in the second half of the season ahead of the 2018 World Cup.
The 22-year-old joined ADO Den Haag in 2013 and has gone on to make 81 appearances in all competitions, scoring one goal.
He previously played for the youth teams of SV Hoofddorp, VV Young Boys and HFC EDO.
