Chelsea Plotting Move For Ukrainian Midfielder But He Prefers Move To Italy
Chelsea are plotting a summer move for Ukrainian wonderkid Orest Kuzyk, according to reports in the Portuguese press.

Portuguese sports daily O Jogo writes on its print edition that Kuzyk is attracting the interest of major European clubs not limited to Chelsea, Porto and Benfica.

The Blues have sent their scouts to Ukraine to monitor the FC Stal Kamianske attacking midfielder.

This season, the 22-year-old has played 28 matches in all competition for the Ukrainian outfit, scoring 6 goals while providing three assists.

Though he is being courted by Chelsea and the Portuguese giants, Kuzyk has told the media in his homeland that he prefers a move to the Italian Serie A.

Kuzyk spent his formative years as a footballer at FC Karpaty Lviv and FC Dynamo Kyiv and played on loan at FC Hoverla Uzhhorod while on the books of the Kievites.
