Manchester United Challenge Chelsea For Celtic Young Star
Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho has set his sights on capturing Celtic's talented youngster, Kieran Tierney and sent representatives to watch the 20-year old in action in Scotland's Old Firm Derby yesterday, according to The Times.

The Red Devils gaffer has widely scoured for a viable replacement for Luke Shaw at the left-back position and the Scotland international fits the bill perfectly, having put in impressive performances throughout the season for Celtic who sit top of the standings in the Premiership.

United's league rivals, Chelsea are among the host of Premier League clubs that are interested in securing the defender's signature in recent times but the Manchester club seem to be at the forefront of the queue after watching him impress as Celtic thrashed Rangers 4-0 in the Scottish Cup on Sunday.

His transfer fee could skyrocket past United's £20 million valuation, particularly with more suitors very likely to throw in their hats if the youngster who is on a long term deal with the club becomes available for sale.

Tierney has made 50 appearances across all competitions for The Bhoys this term, scoring four goals in the process.
