Official: Huddersfield Town Talents Eligible For Nigeria Ink New Deals
Through a statement on their official website, Huddersfield Town have confirmed that promising English-born winger Andrew Ijiwole has inked a new contract with the Premier League club.

As from next season, Ijiwole will no longer take football as a hobby, but an occupation, as he has appended his signature to a two-year scholarship with the Terriers, which will become activated on July 1.

Born 30th September 2001, he signed for Huddersfield Town at U17 level after spending his formative years as a footballer with XYZ Academy.

He previously represented the youth teams of Southampton and Queens Park Rangers.

The other player of Nigerian descent that has secured a scholarship with Town ahead of next season is central defender Mustapha Olagunju.

Born January 1, 2002 in Plumstead, London, Olagunju first signed for the club at U17 level and previously played for XYZ Academy and Kent Football United.

Ijiwole and Olagunju will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of Danish-born Nigerian midfielder Philip Billing who rose through the ranks before making his debut for Huddersfield Town's first-team.
