Super Eagles World Cup Star Mulling Over Move To Sign Chelsea Defender
Published: April 29, 2018Chelsea defender David Luiz is drawing interest from Ligue 1 outfit Monaco, according to reports.
Goal.com claims Moanco are interested in David Luiz and would even be ready to make an offer for the former PSG star if he's for sale.
The Brazil national-teamer has fallen out of favour with Chelsea manager Antonio Conte, taking part in only 17 games from a possible 55 since the start of the season and is also struggling to overcome a recurring knee problem.
However, Luiz is still popular in the dressing room and could remain at Chelsea if Conte departs Stamford Bridge, as widely expected, at the end of this season.
In the event that The Blues hierarchy sanction the sale of the Brazilian, Monaco have an advantage as their sporting director Michael Emenalo joined the club from Chelsea last November.
The links the former Super Eagles star have with the London club might convince David Luiz to join Monaco ahead of his other suitors.
