Nigerian Teenager Helps Man City Set Three Premier League Records On Home Debut
Highly-rated German-born Nigerian striker Lukas Nmecha has finally made his home debut for Manchester City, three months after he was promoted to the first team by manager Pep Guardiola.

Prior to yesterday's meeting against Brighton & Hove Albion at the Etihad Stadium, the England youth international was on the bench for home games against Leicester City (Feb 10) in the Premier League and Wolverhampton Wanderers in the League Cup (Oct 24).

City manager Pep Guardiola gave Nmecha his home debut when he introduced him in the 86th minute as replacement for Ivorian Yaya Toure who is leaving the club at the end of the season.

His debut had come against Leicester City in the League Cup back in December and he was in the Man City team that beat West Ham 4-1 on April 29.

Manchester City set three Premier League records in the victory over the Seagulls as they became the first team to accumulate 97 points and first team to score 105 goals and register 31 wins, overcoming the records set by Chelsea.

Lukas Nmecha tallied 20 goals in 16 games for Manchester City's youth teams this season, including three hat-tricks.
