Official: Nigerian Midfielder Pens New Long-Term Contract With Liverpool, Joins Rangers On Loan
Published: June 07, 2018Scottish Premiership club Rangers have confirmed that they have added Nigerian starlet Ovie Ejaria to their squad ahead of the start of preseason training.
The England U20 World Cup-winning midfielder joins the Light Blues on a season-long loan from Liverpool and has reunited with manager Steven Gerrard at the club.
Ejaria penned a new long-term deal with Liverpool before he was farmed out on loan to Rangers, subject to international clearance.
''It’s a really great feeling. I’ve been at Liverpool for four years now and I’m just really happy to extend my stay here, '' Ejaria told Liverpool's official website.
''It’s a massive club, the club’s doing really well at the moment, so it wasn’t a hard decision at all.''
