Agent Makes Big Statement On In-Demand Winger Babajide's Future With FK Haugesund
Published: June 28, 2018FC Midtjylland loanee Babajide David is attracting interest from several European teams on the back of his fine form, according to his agent, Cedric Mazet.
Including his goal against Lillestrom SK on Sunday, June 24, the winger has been directly involved in 9 goals (4 goals and 5 assists) in 17 matches across all competitions for FK Haugesund since the Norwegian season started in March.
''He has started very well in the league, and we can see now it was a perfect choice to go to this club on loan, '' Mazet, told allnigeriasoccer.com.
''He is playing regularly and working with very good staff and coach, that is the most important team at the moment.
''Various clubs have contacted me to inform me that they are interested in signing him. But first David belongs to FC Midtjylland, and we are just at the halfway stage of the season.
''For now, David is concentrating on the next games for FKH , nothing more, the team is fourth in the standings and have qualified for the final stages of the Norwegian Cup.''
Cedric Mazet has dismissed reports that suggested that his client would end his association with FK Haugesund before the end of his contract in December.
''He never said he does not want to stay at Haugesund, it is only too soon to talk about his future, like I said, for the clubs interested in him.
''It is important for the fans to know that David is very happy to be at FKH, and that he will continue to work hard until the end of the season with hopefully a lot of success,'' he concluded.
A product of FC Ebedei, Babajide David previously enjoyed loan spells at Thisted FC and Jerv and has been playing on loan at FK Haugesund since March 2017.
