Nigeria U20 Star Invited To Train With Bournemouth First Team
Published: July 17, 2018Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe has started running the rule over Nigeria U20 international Nnamdi Ofoborh.
The young central midfielder was omitted from the Cherries traveling party to La Manga, Spain on July 10 but has been summoned to join the team at their get-together in Spain.
This is not the first time Ofoborh will train with Bournemouth first-teamers as he did so several times last season.
The 18-year-old worked out with the group ahead of their final game of last season against Burnley and traveled with the first team for the away game against Swansea City in November 2017.
Bournemouth shared the spoils with Sevilla in their first pre-season fixture, with Jordon Ibe grabbing the equalizer in a 1-1 draw, and Nnamdi Ofoborh will be hoping to make his debut in their next game against Levante on Friday, July 20.
The Flying Eagles star was recognized for his outstanding performance last season after winning Bournemouth's Youth Team Player of the Season prize at the club's end of season awards in May.
