Eskisehirspor Eyeing Ex-Super Eagles Star Chinedu Obasi
Published: July 24, 2018Former Super Eagles striker, Chinedu Obasi is reportedly linked with a summer switch to Turkish 1. League club, Eskisehirspor.
The ex-Flying Eagles and Dream Team star earned a short term deal with English Championship club, Bolton Wanderers last term after he was released by AIK and ran out of contract with the club at the end of the 2017/2018 season.
It seems he is now hunting for new employers and Anadolu Gazetesi has revealed that he is in talks with Eskisehirspor.
Obasi began his professional career at Norwegian side Lyn Oslo in 2005 and played together with Super Eagles captain, John Obi Mikel, before switching to Hoffenheim, whom he helped gain promotion to the top-flight in his first season in Germany.
He had previously defended the colours of Lyn Oslo, Schalke 04, TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, Shenzhen and AIK.
