Confirmed: Highly-Rated Polish Defender Finally Joins Manchester United
Poland U16 captain, Łukasz Bejger's transfer to Manchester United is now in the bag, according to several reports in his homeland, including manutd.pl.

The Red Devils are on the brink of announcing the capture of the teenager after he passed a medical examination on Saturday, July 28.

Łukasz Bejger, who was on the radar of United's rivals Manchester City, has been linked with a transfer to Old Trafford after undergoing trials with the club in August 2017 and it was thought the deal had collapsed after they announced their new scholarship intake for the new season without including the Pole.

He will become the second Polish player to wear the jersey of Manchester United in recent seasons, following the footsteps of goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak.

Bejger can play several defensive roles on the pitch : central defender, right-back and defensive midfielder.

He moves to Manchester United from Lech Poznań.
