Super Eagles Star Ola Aina Set For Second Loan Spell, Omitted From Chelsea Squad
Published: July 31, 2018Allnigeriasoccer.com has been informed that Super Eagles defender Ola Aina is not in the plans of Chelsea coach Maurizio Sarri for the forthcoming season.
The former England U19 skipper was not named on the Chelsea roster that traveled to Dublin on Tuesday evening because another loan move is on the cards.
During Aina's first loan spell in the 2017-2018 season, the full back appeared in 46 games across all competitions for Hull City, scoring his maiden senior goal against Blackburn Rovers in the Emirates FA Cup in January 2018.
Aina has been on the books of Chelsea since 2007 but has played only six first team games for the club, with all the appearances coming in Antonio Conte's first season in charge.
He trained with Chelsea's first-teamers before he was sent to the loan group following the arrival of the players that represented their nations at the 2018 World Cup.
The 21-year-old has contractual obligations with Chelsea until the summer of 2020.
