Official: Liverpool Announce Outgoing Transfer Of Youngest Ever Goal Scorer
Liverpool have announced the outgoing transfer of promising striker Ben Woodburn

The 18-year-old is spending the whole of the 2018-2019 season on loan at EFL Championship club Sheffield United.

A Wales senior international, Woodburn became the youngest player in history to score for Liverpool when he found the net in an EFL Cup match against Leeds United in November 2016, aged 17 years, one month, 14 days.

Since debuting for Liverpool, he has totaled eleven appearances for their first team, of which six were in the Premier League.

Woodburn, who was eligible to represent England prior to his competitive debut, has earned seven caps for Wales and scored on his debut against Austria in March 2017.

He captained Liverpool in last season's UEFA Youth League.
