Torino-Bound Ola Aina Set To Become Chelsea's 30th Loanee (Full List)
Published: August 14, 2018Super Eagles defender Ola Aina is set to become the thirtieth player loaned out by Premier League side Chelsea in the summer transfer window after Frenchman Tiémoué Bakayoko became the 29th loanee with his move to AC Milan.
Only an official announcement by Torino is remaining, with the fullback passing a routine medical on Monday, August 13.
Of the 29 players loaned out by the Blues so far, only one is of Nigerian descent, England U21 star Fikayo Tomori who has joined Derby County for the rest of the 2018-2019 campaign.
However, the number of Nigerian players that will be loaned out by the Stamford Bridge outfit is certain to increase as Kenneth Omeruo is on the radar of clubs in Turkey, Spain and Belgium.
Other Nigerian starlets being linked with a temporary departure from Chelsea before the window shuts at the end of this month are strikers Ike Ugbo and Tammy Abraham.
Ola Aina's sibling Jordan, Faustino Anjorin and Tariq Uwakwe are expected to stay put at Chelsea, the three youngsters are important members of the youth teams.
