Brighton's Balogun Reveals One Area Liverpool Are Better Than Manchester United
Published: August 21, 2018Leon Balogun has labelled Manchester United a slow team in the wake of Brighton & Hove's 3-2 win over the Red Devils on Sunday evening.
The Nigeria international got his first taste of Premier League action at The American Express Community Stadium when he replaced an injured Lewis Dunk in the 20th minute and observed the game was not as fast as he expected.
''Some of the lads have just asked me that too and I said I had expected the Premier League to be quicker, but they told me this is always the kind of game you play against United,'' Balogun was quoted as saying by Guardian UK.
''They like to slow it down a little bit sometimes. Liverpool is going to be completely different.
''I know how [Jürgen] Klopp likes to play. It’s going to be a lot quicker and a lot more intense.''
It is thought that Balogun will continue his defensive partnership with Shane Duffy against Liverpool with Dunk still sidelined with an ankle injury.
