Chelsea's Nigerian Striker Reportedly Drawing Interest From Scunthorpe United
EFL League One club Scunthorpe United are working on a deal to sign Nigerian striker Ike Ugbo, according to reports.

The online edition of The Sun is reporting that Chelsea  are sending young striker Ike Ugbo to Stuart McCall’s Scunthorpe United on loan in what could be his third loan spell since joining the Premier League side.

Last season, Ugbo, who was as prolific as Tammy Abraham was for Chelsea's youth teams, was farmed out on loan to Barnsley for the first half of the campaign and completed the season at MK Dons.

It was a foregone conclusion that Ugbo was set for another loan spell as he trained with the 'loan group' during pre-season, along with Ola Aina, Kenneth Omeruo and Fikayo Tomori, who have joined Torino,CD Leganés and Derby County on a temporary basis respectively.

Allnigeriasoccer.com can reveal now that Ike Ugbo was the mysterious Chelsea player the Nigeria Football Federation held secret talks with ahead of the Super Eagles pre-World Cup friendly against Serbia in March 2018.

The 19-year-old Londoner joined Chelsea as an U10 and has caps for England's U17 and U20 national teams.
