Official: Millwall Striker Onyedinma Joins Adebayo At Wycombe Wanderers
Published: August 30, 2018Millwall have confirmed that Nigerian-born striker Fred Onyedinma has joined EFL League One club Wycombe Wanderers on loan until January 1, 2019.
Onyedinma is returning to the Chairboys for a second loan spell as he played for the club during the 2014-2015 season, scoring 8 goals in 27 appearances.
The 21-year-old will compete with experienced Nigerian forward Adebayo Akinfenwa for one of the starting spots in attack.
Speaking on the deal, Wycombe Wanderers manager Gareth Ainsworth told the club's official website: ''We know all about Fred from his excellent spell with us three years ago and I believe we’re potentially getting an even better player back, having built on his progress at a higher level since then.
''Fred was very young and raw back then and still has plenty to learn, but we feel he’s got all the attributes to keep improving his game and we hope to get the best out of him during this loan deal.''
