Leganes Have A Pleasant Surprise For Super Eagles, Chelsea Fans After Revealing Team News Pre-Betis

Super Eagles and Chelsea fans will be delighted with the latest team news from Leganes ahead of their La Liga match against Real Betis at Estadio Benito Villamarín (Sevilla) on Sunday evening.

The surprise inclusion in the Leganes 19-man squad is Nigeria international Kenneth Omeruo who is in line for a competitive debut for the club he joined in the summer transfer window from Chelsea.

The central defender was all but ruled out of today's fixture few days ago as he had not trained with the team for ten days following his trip to Nigeria to sort out his work visa.

Last week, the Chelsea loanee was spotted at the Merry Men movie premiere in Lekki, Lagos.

Omeruo worked out with his teammates for only two days, Friday and Saturday, and it remains to be seen if manager Mauricio Pellegrino will hand him a long-awaited debut against Real Betis.

Juanfran, Jonathan Silva, Rodrigo Tarín, Unai Bustinza, Raúl García and Allan Nyom are the other defenders named in the Leganes squad.
