Man Utd Legend Neville Tears Into Huddersfield Nigerian Star For Poor Defending Against Watford
Nigerian defensive midfielder Philip Billing was one of the Huddersfield Town players criticized by Manchester United legend Phil Neville for his bad defending in the lead-up to the first goal scored by Watford at The Vic on Saturday afternoon.

Ten minutes into the game, Watford's Roberto Pereyra cut inside and weaved himself past several Cherries players, including Billing, before slotting the ball into the net.

Speaking as a pundit on Match of the Day, Neville said : ''The first challenge is poor (from Zanka) and then he (Pereyra) gets to a position where you think there is no way he is going to go past four or five Huddersfield defenders, but he hardly touched the ball going through - he just ran in a straight line and touched it once.

''He goes through them like they weren't there, Billing puts up a bad challenge and he goes past the keeper easily.

"And that sums up Huddersfield really. The next goal he beat the full-back too easily, so they are letting in too many goals and they don't look a goal threat.''

Billing, 22, is one yellow card away from a suspension after he was booked in the 34th minute for tripping Watford's Isaac Success.
