Official : Chelsea Announce Transfer Of One Of Their Top Young Talents

Premier League giants Chelsea have confirmed the outgoing transfer of England youth international Josh Grant, who has joined League Two club Yeovil Town on loan for the remainder of the 2018-2019 campaign.

This is the first time The Blues have sent the central defender on loan to another club to continue his development.

Grant won Chelsea's Scholar of the Year award in 2015/16 and has won the FA Youth Cup and UEFA Youth League with the club he joined as an Under-8.

Speaking on the signing of the Chelsea U23 skipper, Yeovil Town manager Darren Way told YTFC.net: "Josh is powerful, athletic and has a good personality.

"This is a great opportunity for him to get regular first-team football and I'm pleased to have brought him in."

The 20-year-old Grant is in line to make his professional debut against Mansfield Town on Saturday, January 12.
