Official : Wydad Casablanca Loan Out Super Eagles Star To Rapide Club Oued Zem

Moroccan Botola IAM Pro side Wydad Athletic Club have loaned out Nigeria international Gabriel Okechukwu to rivals Rapide Club Oued Zem.

Okechukwu has joined the RC Oued Zem ranks on loan for the remainder of the 2018-2019 campaign.

The 23-year-old had to seek a loan move away from Wydad Casablanca in January due to a lack of game time for the two-time African champions.

Okechukwu's first club abroad was St. George's F.C in Malta before transferring to FC Karpaty Lviv in Ukraine.

He has represented Water FC, TEAP FC and Akwa United in his homeland.

The physical striker was in the Nigeria squad that reached the final of the 2018 African Nations Championship in Morocco.

Rapide Club Oued Zem sit tenth in the table with 15 points after 14 matches in the Moroccan top division.
