Photo Confirmation : Ex-Falkenberg Star Egbuchulam Completes Move To Suwon FC Worth N432M
Published: January 17, 2019Former Falkenbergs FF star Chisom Egbuchulam has completed his big money move to South Korean K League 2 side Suwon FC following a successful medical.
The 26-year-old was heavily courted by clubs based in Scotland, Turkey and Georgia before he agreed terms with the South Korean club.
Egbuchulam's agent, Rotimi Fernandez Dawodu, who is the Executive Director of Double Diamond Sports, told allnigeriasoccer.com : ''Chisom has signed a two-year deal. He will wear the number nine or eleven jersey, he has the option to choose.
''He will be the one spearheading their attack in the new season and will play as a nine. ''
Explaining why his client chose Suwon, the American-based intermediary said: ''Suwon were the only club who showed genuine interest to bring the player on from day one .
''The ambition of the club is to get back into the K League 1 and also more opportunity in the Asia market.
''They identified the player and did not stop even when the road got a little uncomfortable. This is the age for him to start benefiting financially also. ''
Egbuchulam is in line to pocket at least US$1.2 million (approximately N432 million) for the duration of his two-year deal with Suwon.
